About this sauce
Sierra Verde is our green sauce: foothill-grown green chiles fermented into something tangy, herbal, and bright, with a clean medium-hot heat that wakes food up without taking it over. The name isn’t marketing — it’s where it comes from. These peppers grow at 2,800 feet in the Sierra Nevada foothills, at the edge of the pines, and that high-and-dry country is part of why they taste the way they do. Pour it on tacos, eggs, grilled chicken, or anything that needs a little green lift.
